
EngFrosh Sponsorship
In 2018, I was the Sponsorship Coordinator for EngFrosh, one of Carleton University’s freshman orientation weeks. I was responsible for raising $25,000 in sponsorship and in-kind donations from both public and private industry.
I was responsible for the crowdfunding arm of our fundraising efforts. To build awareness and convert potential donors into paying donors, I created a digital communications strategy that included social copy and graphics, email marketing efforts and a video filmed with key leaders.
Along with the content creation aspect of the strategy, I was also responsible for the implementation, ensuring posts were scheduled on the proper platforms and also monitored for engagement.
The plan was incredibly successful and the crowdfunding effort saw record breaking donations in support of our event, and was a large contributor to meeting our fundraising goal of $25,000.
