My name is Hannah Waye, and I’m a social media and digital strategist. Originally from the East Coast, I currently live in Ottawa and I’m incredibly passionate about, well, everything - I’ve been told my positive energy can be infectious.
I’ve been in digital communications in some shape or form since I was 17, but throughout university it became increasingly clear that storytelling through social media and digital marketing were a core part of what I wanted out of my career. Social media is a way to take my love of storytelling and introduce it to brands and take my love of people and turn it into a genuine connection online.
I’ve made it my mission to work with brands both big and small to tell stories and connect with their audiences through the online world.

I’m a Bluenoser
If you didn’t realize from the obsession with storytelling, I was born and raised on the East Coast, just outside of Halifax on the beautiful Eastern Shore. I go home whenever I can go see my family and to smell the salty ocean air.
I’m a Big Fan of Hobbies
Outside of work, I love reading, pop culture, musical theatre, cooking and obsessing over my dog Lily. On weekends, you can find me exploring the city, curled up with a good book or indulging in some pasta while I watch my new favourite Netflix show.
I 💕 Performing
Social media wasn’t my first outlet for sharing stories and experiences with others - I’ve been singing and acting as long as I can remember. I am a big fan of musical theatre and singing and try to spend time on the stage whenever I get the chance.
